File attachments in Proton Pass
You can attach a file to login, note, Identity, and card items in your Proton Pass account. This feature is available for paid plans, including:
- Pass Plus
- Pass Family
- Proton Pass Professional
- Proton Unlimited
- Proton Visionary
- Proton Family
- Proton Duo
Please be aware that your storage limit is distributed across the whole Proton ecosystem e.g. between Proton Pass, Proton Drive, and Proton Mail.
You can find your current Proton data storage on your Profile using the iOS and Android apps, or in your Account using the desktop apps or browser.

How to create file attachments
File attachments are available for all platforms, including mobile, web, desktop and browser extension. To create file attachments, you can either create a new item or edit an existing item.
- Select or create the item you’d like to attach a file to → Attach a file

3. Once you’ve selected an attachment type, the attachment will show at the item of the item

How to open, save, or share an attachment
- To open an attachment, just tap it to view


2. You can also open or alternatively save or share an attachment by tapping the three dot icon ⋮

How to rename or delete an attachment
- You can rename or delete a single attachment by selecting Edit → the three dot icon ⋮ on the attachment you’d like to rename or delete


2. If you want to delete all attachments, select the trashcan icon → Delete all
